CANADA'S HIGHEST SPORTING HONOR

The Order of Sport Awards: Legacy Edition marks a milestone for Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. Taking place on November 4, 2026, this special edition celebrates seven decades of honouring Athletes, Builders and Trailblazers whose achievements reflect the very best of Canadians and the spirit of sport in this country.

This is a moment not only to recognize excellence, but to reflect on how sport in Canada has evolved—shaped by the people, movements, and ideas that have expanded its meaning and impact. Over the past seventy years, barriers have been broken, new pathways have emerged, and sport has become a powerful force for inclusion, reconciliation, social progress, and nation-building.

70th ANNUAL ORDER OF SPORT AWARDS

Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is thrilled to host the 70th Annual Order of Sport Awards, presented by Everest Funeral Concierge. On November 4, the Class of 2026, will be inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame and receive the Order of Sport - Canada’s highest sporting honour.

This year’s class recognizes three Trailblazers whose impact has fundamentally reshaped the landscape of sport in Canada.
